SOPA Parliamentary Reception POSTPONED
Event for the Thursday 12 March 2026, at 5:30pm – 7:30pm • Scottish Parliament - CANCELLED
We have been informed by our sponsor Christine Grahame MSP this morning, that, Parliament is now sitting till 10pm on Thursday 12th March, to process legislation before the end of the session on 26 March, regrettably our event will have to be postponed as members will be voting all that time.

Consequently, the SOPA Board has decided to postpone hosting a Parliamentary Reception until later in the year.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience and having to cancel the Parliamentary Reception yet again.

The SOPA Board appreciates the work which you have put into preparing to attend and can only express our great disappointment of this postponement; however, it has been yet again outwith our control. This is an unprecedented time at Parliament, and it is unfortunate for it happen twice for SOPA.
